The thing that inspired me the most to start my photography venture was shooting concerts. I loved shooting an artist or a band doing what they do best, which was putting on a great performance. Getting the perfect shot was always challenging when you don’t have a press pass. Fighting through the crowd trying to get better position while avoiding all the tall people and adjusting the camera to the epileptic inducing lights was sometimes pretty frustrating. However; when I actually got the shot I was looking for it felt exhilarating. I have seen a lot of concerts in my time and I only took my camera to about one third of the shows. I keep a large picture and video archive of the past concerts that I attended, so I picked out a bunch of pictures that I like to share with you all.  Even though most of these pictures you are about to see were shot on a point and shoot camera they still came out pretty well. I hope you enjoy them!

    Yes Bird,

Keep those photos coming. You don’t need a pass to make a good photo but they sure come in handy. Used to be really easy to get them at Harbourfront but I don’t know what it’s like any more. You’ll clean up for sure next NXNE.
